This week’s Point To Ponder arose from a response I e-mailed to a co-worker  just last week.  He is spending two-and-a-half weeks in India immersing himself in a culture that has been a source of fascination (to him) since youth.  Essentially this is his once-in-a-lifetime moment.  One that he has been preparing for since childhood.

Point To Ponder:

“Later is a ship that knows no port-of-call.” - RJS

Here’s the quote in context.

George,

Too often we put our interests on hold and pursue the means to pursue them later, and of course “later” is a ship that knows no port-of-call.  Enjoy each moment as it unfolds, and soak in the essence of interacting as we were meant to.  Meet, greet, participate in new experiences, love, lend of yourself and be leant to.  Bring back a learning that would otherwise have gone undiscovered had you not boldly stepped beyond the familiar.

Peace be with you :)
